Gittens sorry he was caught
“It is unfortunate that I get ketch and I plead guilty.”
That was the response today from 62-year-old Collin Gittens of Storey Gap, Howells Cross Road, St Michael when asked by District ‘A’ Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant if he had anything to say before sentence was imposed on him for drug possession.
The magistrate therefore fined the self-employed Gittens $750 to be paid in a month with the alternative of spending six months behind bars. Police were on foot patrol on Marhill Street, The City yesterday when they caught the convict with the drug.
