KINGSTON –– Rudolph Dixon consoles Latoya Williams, who rushed from work to the scene of a fire in Trench Town Tuesday, hoping she could save something.

She was among 26 people who were left homeless after the blaze, suspected to be a case of arson, gutted seven houses on Second Street.

According to an irate resident, one of the houses was set ablaze by a man who had an altercation with one of the occupants.
