Three separate cases of assault

A 67-year-old businessman was today granted bail after pleading not guilty to assault in the District  ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court.

Faustin Hategekimana of Block 3G Bonnetts, Brittons Hill, St Michael was charged with assaulting Rolston John on July 2. The designer was granted $2,000 bail.

Appearing before Magistrate Douglas Frederick today, Ryan Kerwin Callender of Barbarees Gardens, Barbarees Hill, St Michael also denied unlawfully assaulting Alvin Bryan on July 3.
The manager was granted $2,500 bail.

The two men are due to return to court on October 3, so too Rakelia Tania Browne who is accused of assaulting Constable Lenroy Scott in the execution of his duties on July 3.

The 22-year-old who lives at Hope Road, Orange Hill, St James remains on $2,500 bail.
