Missing elderly woman pulled from ravine alive

Police have located 82-year-old Agnes Eudora Thompson of Joe’s River, St Joseph, who was reported missing on Wednesday.

However, Thompson had to be transported to hospital after she was pulled from a ravine during a major police and Barbados Defence Force (BDF) operation early this morning.

It was around 5.30 a.m.,  when the search and rescue operation was carried out in areas surrounding Joe’s River.

A statement from the Royal Barbados Police Force (RBPF) said a total of 40 police officers, led by an Inspector, along with 50 members of the BDF, who were acting on information, discovered the missing woman, early in the operation, in a deep ravine in Frizers, St Joseph.

“About 7 a.m., because of the difficult terrain, the missing woman was brought from the ravine alive. Medics from the police and Defence Force treated her successfully and she was transported to the QEH by BDF ambulance.

“The RBPF wish to thank the public and the media for their assistance in this matter,” the statement added.

We are always told where the elderly were found but never told where the young girls who go missing were found.

@Jay, harry turnover, Alec Pierre, what do you all find is wrong about Stating where anyone who went missing was found ?? is it because you already know that most of the missing young girls in Barbados are recovered from Brothels and Whore Houses ?? the lasy five from that one School who went missing WERE found in a Whorehouse qith the Housekeeper in the Nelson Street area, so stop trying to hide youe Collective Heads in the Sand,

Human Trafficking is alive and well, and prospering in Barbados, and denial won’r help.
