Walrond ordered to keep the peace

courtA St Michael man was today ordered to keep the peace for the remainder of the year.

Magistrate Douglas Frederick handed down the sentence to 38-year-old Adrian Chelston Walrond of Monroe Road, Haggatt Hall, who was charged with assaulting Velcia Greaves on May 3 this year.

“I have your presentencing report here and it does not look good,” Frederick, who is the presiding magistrate in the No 1 District “A” Court, told Walrond.

“You do not get community service twice and this is the second time that you have found yourself in trouble with the same complainant. I am placing you on a six months bond, if breached three months imprisonment,” the magistrate said.
