Gay remanded to Dodds

A 57-year-old Christ Church man was unable today to produce a surety to ensure his release on bail for the second time this year.

As a result, Peter Rudolph Gay of #44 Hillside Terrace, Gall Hill, Christ Church, was returned to HMP Dodds where he remains on remand.

Gay was granted bail back on May 24, 2016 after he pleaded not guilty to entering Room 501 at the Yellow Bird Hotel as a trespasser with intent to steal. That incident occurred on April 26.

There were no objections to bail by police prosecutor Neville Reid when Gay appeared in the No. 2 District “A” Magistrates’ Court today.

However, the accused told Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant that he still had found no one to stand as a surety for him. He was then remanded until July 19.

If black politicians and the justice world don’t have love and respect for themselves– how on this blessed earth they can have love for their subjects.

The Black civilizations continued to be their worst enemies — and continued to blame the white man for his/her downfall
