2016 Sweet Soca and Party Monarch finalists

The semifinalists in the Sweet Soca and Party Monarch competitions have been announced.

At a press conference at the West Terrace office of the National Cultural Foundation, corporate communications specialist Simone Codrington announced those calypsonians who will compete for a spot in the finals at Bushy Park.

The semifinalists in the Sweet Soca competition are as follows:

Adrian Clarke- How We Feteing

Biggie Irie – Money Well Spent

Damien Marvay- Know the Face

Don Trent- New Day

Grynner– Turn On De Speaker

Imani- Journey

Joaquin- This Place

King Bubba– Call in Sick Meet Me On the Road

Leadpipe & Saddis– Dreams

Mikey– CEO

Mr Dale– Nuttin Sweeter

Nikita– Bun It Up

Peter Ram– Good Morning

Sanctuary– Bailor

TC– Wine and Carry On

Yannick Hooper- They Dont Want Us to Fete

The reserve is Coopa Dan- Home
