That is a good thing because quite recently, Age Discrimination prevented persons of this man’s chronology from seeking gainful employment.

People have hubbies and can enjoy them till their last breath but, at certain age you need to take it easy. Once a man twice a child, wear and tear is inevitable .

To be quite honest Claude, people here work security jobs well into their eighties, especially corporate security, where they sit at a desk and check people in and out of the facility. And whose knows: this could have been this man’s second job, and he may have retired from the first job?

It is not usually for a person to retire at 67, if that person was employed at 40 and had to work 25 years to receive full retirement or take a 4% reduction if he or she retires within the 25 years of service, providing he or she has the age but not the time in service.

For those of you have never traveled beyond Bridge town ,they are people in all parts of the world that work beyond 70 years of age . If someone is fit and healthy enough there s nothing that prevents any such person from doing any job that they might be capable of. Maybe this unfortunate gentleman could have had a heart attack which in most cases don’t have favorites.
Bajans ,in most cases would retire at 60 , but this has changed .This current generation (many ) can’t retire because they have never ever worked.
