Welder warned to stay away from victim

A 38-year-old welder, charged with unlawful wounding, was today warned to stay away from his alleged victim.

That was one of the conditions handed down to Omar Omerhi Perryman of Walkers, St George in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court in order for him to secure bail.

Perryman is charged with unlawfully wounding Shean Turton on June 6, 2016 with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him.

When he appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick this afternoon, the police prosecutor said he had no objections to bail.

Perryman must also report to the District “A” police station every Wednesday before 10 a.m. as another of his bail conditions.

Bail was set at $3, 000 and his next court appearance is scheduled for September 21, 2016.
