Richards charged with having an unlicensed firearm

todays courtA 31-year-old College Land, St John man has been remanded to Dodds prison following a court appearance today on charges of having an unlicensed firearm and 26 rounds of ammunition on May 18.

Additionally, Reydon Richards went before the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court charged with breaking into Margaret Boyce’s home on April 23 and stealing $250,000, a $7,000 chain and a $400 ring belonging to Charles Haynes, and a cellular phone and earrings belonging to Boyce.

He was not required to plead to any of the charges.

Richards will appear before Acting Chief Magistrate Christopher Birch in the District ‘C’ Magistrates’ Court on Thursday for the two firearm charges.

He was remanded until June 20 when he comes back to the District ‘A’ Court to answer the burglary charge.
