Shooting victim stable

Police have identified the victim shot at Browne’s Beach last evening.

He is Codee Scantlebury, 18, of Halls Road, St Michael who sustained a gunshot wound to his chest.

Scantlebury underwent surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and is reported to be in  stable condition.

Police are appealing to anyone with information about the incident to call 430-7189 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-TIPS(8477)

    And to think that not only about a week ago The Acting C.O.P. told us that MAJOR Crime was DOWN,
    Can someone/anyone please tell me What is considered a Major Crime in Barbados Today (not the newspaper)

    Because of shooting means Major Crime is up. Each time there is a shooting , it is a male . The average citizen can go about his or her business without fear.
