Two accused of handling stolen laptop

This was the order issued by District ‘A’ Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant today, as she released a painter and his unemployed girlfriend on bail.

Jeffrey Adolphus Odle, 53, of Grazettes Main Road, St Michael is accused of dishonestly assisting in the disposal of a $700 laptop belonging to Greene, knowing or believing the same to be stolen.

He pleaded not guilty, so too his partner Patricia Grant, 52, of the same address, who is charged with dishonestly receiving the same laptop.

Both were released on $2,000 bail and ordered to return to court on August 10.
