SOL employee granted bail

COURT TODAY BLOCKA 57-year-old SOL employee has been granted bail in the amount of $10,000 after he appeared in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court yesterday to answer three drug offences.

Frank Jefferson Wiltshire of Fitts Gap, Westbury Road, St Michael was arrested Wednesday at the Bridgetown Port where he was employed as a bunker crewman. Members of the Drug Squad intercepted and searched a motor lorry he was driving and discovered 1.9 kilogrammes of cannabis.

Today, he pleaded not guilty to charges of possession, possession with intent to supply and trafficking in cannabis when he appeared before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant. Wiltshire returns to court on August 18.
