Flow-ing with Common Entrance

Hundreds of students who wrote today’s Common Entrance Exam at Queen’s College, The Lester Vaughan School and Ellerslie Secondary were each rewarded with a sweet treat from Barbados’ leading telecommunications provider Flow.

Joining forces with Chefette Restaurants, Flow presented the pupils with $10 vouchers for some celebratory ice cream and snacks. Niall Sheehy, managing director of Flow Barbados, said the three examination centres were selected because of the close proximity to the company’s corporate headquarters in Warrens, St Michael.

“Our mission is to connect communities and transform lives, and one of our company values is ‘Strive to be the best’. These youngsters here today are the embodiment of that and we are very proud of their accomplishments,” Sheehy said.

“We could have a future Prime Minister or an outstanding entrepreneur here in our midst; so we are especially pleased to be able to offer them a richly deserved pat on the back. Hard work does not go unnoticed, and someday the rewards will follow.”
