Police seize over 120 plants in operations

Police seized over 120 cannabis plants following operations in two rural parishes today.

According to police public relations officer Acting Assistant Superintendent Inspector David Welch, police confiscated 61 plants in St John and 64 plants in St Andrew during operations by the Drug Squad.

The plants of which the tallest was six feet, were found hidden in bushy areas in Small Town, Spooners, Hothersal and Edgecliff in St John and Belleplaine in St Andrew.

No arrests have been made in connection with the seizure.
