Man admits to causing disturbance

COURT TODAY BLOCKRene Ian Forde was reprimanded and discharged after he admitted causing a disturbance on Swan Street, The City on Saturday.

According to the facts, Forde, a vendor from Skeetes Road, Jackmans, St Michael showed up after police went to Swan Street to settle a dispute between his girlfriend and another man.

The District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court, where Forde appeared today to answer the charge, heard that he came in the midst of the discussions and became very boisterous.

He ignored police warnings about his behaviour and became more enraged as time went on. He was eventually arrested and taken to Central Police Station.

Forde appeared before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant.
