Browne ordered to keep the peace

COURT TODAY BLOCKFor touching another woman in the face during a heated argument, Pauline Pearline Browne will have to keep the peace for the next 12 months.

That was the sentence handed down by Magistrate Christopher Birch in the District ‘C’ Court, when Browne, 49, of #35 Denton Road, Grazettes Road, St Michael reappeared today.

Yesterday, she had been remanded to HMP Dodds for one day after pleading guilty to assaulting Shameka Small on March 28, 2016, while at the Oistins Fish Festival.

Browne has also been ordered to stay away from Oistins during that 12 months, .

If she breaches the bond she will have to pay $500 forthwith or spend 90 days in jail.
