Fraud accused granted bail

COURT TODAY BLOCKA 52-year-old man appeared in the District ‘C’ Magistrates’ Court yesterday on a fraud charge.

Pearson Llewellyn Moore was not required to plead to the charge that with the intention of defrauding Chrishawn Browne, he uttered two forged bank notes to him on April 2, purporting them to be genuine notes issued by the Central Bank of Barbados while knowing them to be forged.

Moore resides at #156 Apartment 2 Regency Park, Christ Church.

Acting Chief Magistrate Christopher Birch granted Moore $10,000 bail and adjourned the matter until June 15.
