West Indies stun England to claim T20 title

Marlon Samuels (left) and Carlos Brathwaite led the West Indies to the T20 title

Led by an incredible show of power hitting by Carlos Brathwaite, the West Indies snatched victory from the jaws of defeat to lead the regional side to an exciting four-wicket win over England just moments ago.

Brathwaite hit the first four balls of Ben Stokes’ final over for consecutive sixes to lead the Windies to 161 for six in pursuit of England’s total of 155 for nine.

West Indies, who were reduced to 11-3 in pursuit of England’s 155-9, needed 19 off the final to win – and did so with two balls to spare.

Marlon Samuels’ 85 not out kept them in contention before Brathwaite’s match-winning blitz off Stokes.

CARLOS the main man. Samuels played a very good innings.
WI silence Mark Nichols and Nasser Hussain once and for all.
I always had some respect for the Late David Hooks and Mark Nicholas, but here we see that everyone who come laughing in you face is not a friend. (bad remark Mark).
I wonder what Mark and his friend say about the WI when they sit together having a few beverages.

Hat trick for the West Indies. This record will be hard to be. Today God shut up the mouths of the critics and all those who insulted the team. God was on their side. Carlos gave his credit to God first and God has blessed him and the team.
Congrats to the women and the men may God continue to bless the teams.
All three teams are truly CHAMPION s

There is a saying it is better to be thought a fool, than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt. This is Mark Richards, he opened his mouth and now he is the biggest fool on planet earth.
