Cadogan accused of stealing a vehicle and other things

COURT TODAY BLOCKAfter appearing before a Magistrates’ Court yesterday on four charges, a 56-year-old man was remanded to HMP Dodds.

Joseph Henry Sinclair Cadogan denied three charges before Acting Chief Magistrate Christopher Birch.

Those were that he drove dangerously along Oldbury Road, St Philip and failed to draw his vehicle to the left side of the road on hearing a siren, both on February 18 this year.

He is further accused of stealing a $179 cellular phone belonging to Brenda Peltaire while at the Casa Grande hotel on March 28.

Cadogan, an electrical contractor from Bedford Avenue, Bay Street, St Michael, is also charged with theft of a vehicle. That matter is expected to come up in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court on April 5.

He returns to the District ‘C’ Court the following day.
