BWA to shut off water in Pine

Residents and businesses in the Pine, St Michael are being told to brace for low water pressure, as well as outages as the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) prepares to effect a shut down of services in the area on Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

As a result, it is encouraging those customers to store an adequate amount of water for the duration of the shut down.

“The BWA regrets any inconvenience caused,” the state-run agency said in a release Friday in which it also announced that due to its mains-laying project, Upper Roebuck Street will be closed this Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (PR)
