Barnette on $2,000 bail

COURT TODAY BLOCKA man who pleaded not guilty to assaulting his girlfriend and damaging property will reappear in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Derrick Richard Barnette, 48, of Long Gap, St Michael pleaded not guilty to assaulting Asha Sergeant as well as to damaging two insect screens belonging to Tania Alexander on March 30, 2016.

Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sergeant released him on $2,000 bail and ordered him to return to court tomorrow.

He is being represented by Dr Waldo Ramsey.
