Labourer released on $2,000 bail

COURT TODAY BLOCKRasheed Jamasa Clarke was granted $2,000 bail when he appeared in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court today on a drug charge.

When he appeared before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant, the 20-year-old labourer of School Lane, Halls Road, St Michael pleaded not guilty to having cannabis in his possession on March 27, 2016.

There were no objections to bail.

He will return to court on June 8.

    i keep reading drug charge … and seeing someone charged with cannabis possession … when can we expect journalists to change that headline from “drug charge” to “illegal substance”
