Griffith freed of wounding charge

COURT TODAY BLOCKA 73-year-old retiree no longer has a case against him.

Keith Arthur Griffith, who was accused of the May 16, 2013 offence of unlawfully and maliciously wounding Sylvan Lynch, had his case thrown out today by a Bridgetown magistrate.

Griffith, a resident of Block 3A, Rock Close, Wildey, St Michael returned before the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court where his matter came up.

However, the complainant said he was no longer interested in pursuing the matter. He was asked to pay $150 court costs by Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant.

The money was paid and the matter was dismissed. Griffith was represented by attorney-at-law Desmond Sands.
