Rape accused granted bail

COURT TODAY BLOCKA conductor accused of raping a woman on October 12 last year, was granted $5,000 bail when he made his first court appearance earlier today.

Brian Daniel Morris, of 2nd Avenue Skeetes Road, Ivy, St Michael heard the indictable charge read to him by Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court.

He was not asked to plead. There was no objection to bail from the prosecution and Morris will next attend court on June 20.

He was represented by attorney-at-law Andrew Willoughby.
