West Indies beat Australia in second warm-up match

West Indies beat Australia by three wickets with one ball to spare, in their second official warm-up match today at Eden Gardens in India ahead of the Twenty20 World Cup.

Batting first, Australia were 161 for nine off 20 overs. Shane Watson top scored with 60, Steve Smith made 36, followed by Aaron Finch with 33.

Dwayne Bravo took four for 21; Sulieman Benn, three for 37 and Carlos Brathwaite two for 16.

Captain Darren Sammy top scored with 50.

West Indies recovered from 49 for five with captain Darren Sammy posting 50 not out from 28 balls.  Carlos Brathwaite made 33, and Andre Russell 29.

Josh Hazlewood took a hat-trick, while Andrew Tye took two for 35.

West Indies play their first match on Wednesday against England at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

    Great work by the bowlers and Sammy. The rest of the batting needs to get real though. 49 for five is unacceptable.
