Man admits to stabbing cop

COURT TODAY BLOCKThe man who owned up to stabbing a police officer yesterday has been remanded to HMP Dodds.

Anderson Orlando Phillips Greaves, 44, of Clarke’s Road, Spooners Hill, St Michael pleaded guilty to unlawfully and maliciously wounding police constables Kadeem Sealy and Roy Stuart, as well as assaulting both men on March 3.

He however pleaded not guilty to damaging one shirt belonging to the Crown on the same date.

When he appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the District ‘A’ Magistrate Court today, Greaves’ left eye was swollen shut, while his lip was also swollen.

Frederick remanded him to prison until March 18 when he will return to be sentenced.
