Narrow escape

A 37-year-old St John man managed to defy death this afternoon after his vehicle plunged down a precipice at Clifton Hall in the same parish.

The truck being driven by Dave Cooke, of New Castle, crashed 25 feet down the bushy drop.

He received abrasions about the body and complained of pain in his right foot.

Cole was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.

Police and personnel from the Barbados Fire Service responded to the incident.
