Blue rule at Deighton Griffith

It was sheer force of numbers that took Set B (Blue House) to victory over the three-year defending champions Green House at Deighton Griffith Secondary’s inter-house sports at their Christ Church school ground today. Finishing with a total of 970 points, Set B (Blue) took top honours from Set D (Green) on 948, Set A (Red) with 918 and Set C (Yellow) who managed 581 rounded out the other competition.

Mario Best, though, was the shining light for Yellow House taking the victor ludorum title with 82 points in his U17 division. Dana Brathwaite amassed an impressive 103 points for her personal accolade of victrix ludorum.

For the girls, Shania Gill took the U13 division and Kelilah Mayers the U15 with 45 and 48 points respectively both from Blue House. Akeba Pollard of Red House took the U17 division with 60 points and Dana Brathwaite won the U20 division.

In the boys, Kristin Cummins and Jayden Hoyte of Red House copped their divisions, U13 and U15 with 52 and 69 points respectively. Mario Best took the U17 title and Leondre Forde was the best among the U20 boys with 75 points.
