PM off to NY for DLP sip

Prime Minister Freundel Stuart left the island today for New York, where he is down to attend a private function put on by the United States arm of his ruling Democratic Labour Party (DLP).

Stuart, who returns home on Monday, will address The Friends of Barbados DLP Association’s Pre-Fiftieth Anniversary of Independence Cocktail Sip on Sunday, February 7.

While he is away, Minister of Tourism and International Transport Richard Sealy will act
as Prime Minister.
