Babb sent for observation

COURT TODAY BLOCKA man accused of indecently assaulting a female on February 2 this year, has been remanded to the Psychiatric Hospital for observation.

Anderson Leroy Babb, 58, of no fixed address, was not required to plead to the indictable charge which Magistrate Douglas Frederick read to him today.

The prosecution objected to bail, based on Babb not having a permanent address. However, even if the court was minded to grant him bail, there was no one around to stand surety for the accused man.

Babb will therefore return to the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court on February 19.
