Green take title at Reynold Weekes

Green House are the champion of Reynold Weekes Primary School sports which was held at Rices playing field yesterday.

Last year’s underdogs the Green Titans edged out six-time defending champions Red House by a mere two points.

The morning action was its usual affair of excitement but the Titans left nothing to chance as the went head to head with Yellow House who was also gunning to take the top spot.

But Green House would not let up, even after Red House showed their mettle in the afternoon portion of the games in the relay events.

Blue House under-13 boys were the champion on the relay medley

The Titans would hold on to post 579 points over long time champs Red House who came in second with 577 points. Yellow House who showed that they were not to be taken for granted secured 531 points to finish in third position, and Blue House despite taking took a lion share of the afternoon relay events ended in fourth with 491 points.
The victrix ludorum was Yellow’s Chidera Greenidge, while Jelani Blenman of Green House was the victor ludorum. (FW)

    You mean to tell me, i left there in the mid-90’s with Blue House coming last and Red House coming first. And now 10 years later Blue house still at the bottom and Red House still dominating. Smh.
