St Lucy, St George South for final

It will be a country affair in the finals of the National Sports Council/Youth Development Under-17 Football Tournament which will feature St George South against St Lucy.

In the semi-final rounds played yesterday at the Briar Hall, Christ Church ground, St Lucy held on to a nail-biting 1-0 victory over St James South. In the second encounter St Michael North West went down to St George on penalty kicks 4-3 after both sides failed to score in regulation and extra time.

The finals will commence around 4 p.m. at Briar Hall on January 21 with the third-place play-off followed by the grand finale at 5:30 p.m. (ML)
