Police in full force

Police officers will be out in full force tonight. That assurance has come from Public Relations Officer Acting Assistant Superintendent

A statement issued this afternoon said: “Police wish to inform the public that significant resources have been committed to policing the island from the evening of New Year’s Eve to assure the safety of those persons attending church and party events.”

Welch also asked persons to practise good crime prevention and road safety.

They are also asked to note Aquatic Gap, St Michael, will be closed to traffic from 7 p.m. Officers will be on duty to assist with the regulation of traffic.
