Goodman denies stealing macaroni and cheese

COURT TODAY BLOCKBail was granted to two accused who appeared separately in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court yesterday before Magistrate Douglas Frederick.

Janice Goodman, 59, denied stealing macaroni, cheese, seasoning and other items from Savings Plus Incorporated on December 19.

The unemployed woman, who lives at Arthur Seat, S Thomas, was granted $2 500 bail and her case adjourned until January 27 next year.

Meanwhile, Alvial Atkinson Johnson pleaded not guilty to his charge of assaulting and causing Jana Catlyn actual bodily harm. The painter, 34, of Lewis gap, Green Hill, St Michael, was released on $3 000 bail.

His next court date is April 11.
