Escapee only reached car park

COURT TODAY BLOCKSylvan Elridge Taylor will attend court on January 16, 2016 when his presentencing report and criminal record are to be presented.

Taylor, of Church Hill, Christ Church, returned to court today for the facts of his case to be read. He pleaded guilty last Friday before Justice Jacqueline Cornelius in High Court #5, to escaping awful custody on June 19, 2012.

The convicted man was at Central Police station in relation to a matter, when he escaped. He had only reached as far as the car park on the opposite side of the road when police recaptured him.

Principal Crown Counsel Lancelot Applewaite appeared on behalf of the Crown.

    Why am I not the least bit surprise this stupid method if not restraining accuse criminals backward and ridiculous everyone should be fully restraint one of these days things gine go really bad.

    @,Rawle,S, hail, hail , on the button, one day ,we hope it doesn’t, happen. I was shock to see ,2 accuse of murder, without handcuffs, we are not learning anything ,from organize law enforcement, around the world.

    What a complete ‘Plank’. ‘C mon’ where exactly did this guy think he could run to? B’dos is so small and every man and his dog seems to know everyone else.
