Another man charged with Worrell’s murder

Police have arrested and charged 20-year-old Johnathan Ricardo Joshua Layne of Grazettes New Road, St Michael with the offence of murder.

He is the ninth person charged in relation to the October 2 shooting death of 23-year-old Jamal Worrell.

Layne, aka “Short Man” or “Shanka”, was the subject of a wanted man notice issued on December 2.

He will also appear in court today on two counts of endangering life and use of a firearm.

    Steupse !!! What the hell is wrong with these stupid youngsters though? I blame them , their teachers and their parents and the persons they choose as role matters for their seemingly lost focus. Cricket used to be a game that youngsters played. We need more cricket to help these young boys channel that energy/aggression

    You blame the teachers? Are you serious? Im sure that the teachers tried their very best with him andhe would have rejected the free education that was given to him.the blame is on him… andthen his parents notthe teachers

    I disagree with blaming anyone,people choose the path they want,regardless of what they are taught.we all know this.
