Owen Arthur to address Labour Party on Sunday

Former Prime Minister Owen Arthur is down to address this weekend’s annual conference of the ruling St Lucia Labour Party (SLP).

Arthur, who served as head of Government for 14 years and is credited for his work on the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Single Market and Economy (CSME), will focus on the future of the Caribbean economy when he delivers the feature address at the Open Session of the SLP’s Annual

Conference of Delegates and Celebration of the Party’s 65th Anniversary on Sunday.

The conference takes place at the Philip Marcellin Stadium in Vieux Fort under the theme: The Passion, The Pain and the Power: A New Journey Begins.

Political Leader and Prime Minister Dr Kenny D. Anthony will deliver the annual political leader’s speech at the conference. (PR)
