That was always on the cards….carnival or any kind free social gathering there must be a stabbing or shooting. That is why people with sense stay home.

If this carries on eventually Barbados will start to get the tourist tag of not a very safe place to visit or its not safe to leave your hotels or go out at night cos you might get robbed stabbed or murdered many caribbean islands have a bit of a bad reputation not Barbados yet but once it gets it then it’s there to stay

Frederick Walcott you are right, Bajans fail to realize with a population their size and the size of BIM, their crime rate is much higher than where many tourists live.

Showing you Nationality as a Barbadian and not as a Bajan which is a culture would be a true international blessing to the rest of the world Bajan Ladies. Just imagine a toddler hearing his or her parents commenting on ” Two ladies or rather women fight on Independence Day and one stabs the other. Barbadian woman where is your respect of self and others. Please place a mirror ahead of you and see the reflection, then if there is no reflection there is medical help available at the psychiatric hospital with well trained staff.

Head lines. Women stab on the 49th. year of independence in Barbados. What next? Is anywhere/anyone safe in Barbados anymore? It would seem that anyone in the weaponry business in Barbados is making a mint ’cause every body there would appear to have a weapon of some sort.
It has now become you juk me or i juk you first. Juk fa Juk.
