KFC supporting masters football

Fans of masters’ football will be looking for a superlative performance from the competition’s namesake team when the annual KFC/Banks Exactly Masters Classic continues this Saturday at the Lumber Company grounds.

Traditionally one of the best turned out teams in the tournament, KFC Exactly began the opening round well with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Haggatt Hall, only to stumble last Saturday as Families First St. John Sonnets defeated them 3-0

KFC Exactly Team Manager Ryan Lovell said the team was however confident they

could go on to win their last two fixtures against Royalty this coming Saturday, followed by another must-win outing against defending champions Wildey on Monday.

Lovell said KFC’s ongoing support had again been invaluable in mounting a challenge for the trophy this year.

“KFC’s contribution continues to be invaluable for this team, keeping the morale of the guys at a high level. We are grateful for the support, and we are hoping that this year we can perform well and justify the faith and investment that KFC has placed in us,” Lovell said. (PR)
