Lawmen search for missing clues

Police are yet to positively identify the remains of a woman found last night.

However, earlier today, a team of officers was back on the scene feverishly searching for clues, after lawmen pulled the decomposing body from a ravine at Halton Plantation, St Philip with the assistance of members of the Barbados Fire Service.

A post mortem was due to be carried out on the body suspected to be that of Marcelle Smith, who has been missing since October 13.

One man is currently in police custody assisting with investigations into her disappearance.

@carson c cadogan!!! I will not be as hard on you as “Andrew the Voice” because there is TRUTH to what you have said, BUT!!!when you are for all intent and purposes, a “ONE HORSE TOWN” (Tourism) Instead of fighting amongst ourselves, we should have seen this coming, and did something/anythong to ward it off, and it is still NOT too Late.

@lswiltshire!!!! You are out in Left Field on this one, and it would be wise to keep the Politics out of this, because this did not just happen yesterday, this was like a SORE festering for much longer, and all of our Political Doctors Misdiagnosed it, now it is time for the AMPUTATION, we have to make some very SERIOUS decisions on how we go forward with Crime in this Country, and saying that we are still Better than Jamaica or Trinidad & Tobago,r(As is usually done) will not pass Muster anymore, as we are withing “Gunshot range”(Pardon the expression) of them as we speak.

I would like you ALL to follow this (URL : ,
and see why this Country which started out JUST LIKE US Post Independence from Britain. , in now so far AHEAD of us and Moving away steadily, and HOPEFULLY you all will see why LEADERSHIP is so important to the whole country,a and how it progresses. something that we have LACKED for a LOOOONNNGGG time.

we need to Change, and we need to change at the TOP with our outdated Westminister style of Government, and implement Government FOR and BY the People, we need to vote PEOPLE into Parliament, NOT POLITICAL PARTIES.
