Cop’s case adjourned

COURT TODAY BLOCKThe case against a police officer was adjourned yesterday after the complainant failed to show for court.

Winthea Antonio Lynch, of Lot 2 Marley Vale Development, St Philip reappeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Christopher Birch at the District ‘C’ Magistrates’ Court.

The 38-year-old lawman previously denied unlawfully assaulting Quinn Absolom on January 10 this year.

The court adjourned the case, for which Lynch is on bail, and asked that the complainant be warned to attend court on the next occasion on February 8, 2016.
