Gas station robbed

Lawmen are investigating a robbery at the Rubis Service Station in Benthams, St Lucy.

Acting police public relations officer, Acting Station Sergeant Roland Cobbler, told Barbados TODAY that a masked gunman robbed an attendant of an undisclosed sum of money around 9:07 am today.

No one was injured during the incident.

    This seem a bit suspicious to me. Robbery at 9.30AM.?I f i was an investigator in this case ,the attendant would be in for some stringent questions to insure that he/she is not in cohoots with the robber. Maybe an inside arrange job.

    Absolute high polluted nonsense.Criminals watch and monitor areas and when they know security slack , they launch an attack on their target. Yes sometimes criminals act from inside knowledge. Time is not a big issue. CRiminals operate as the opportunity arise. Security needs strengthening.

    Would some one fill me and the bajan public in ,as to how secure is/was this business , businesses in Barbados , seems not to be giving themselves no chance at all, It is so simple fit cameras to your business, cameras , cameras, as an engineer , this is the only piece of technology that worth its weight in gold.

    Cameras , prevents so much crime and catch so much low life criminals, cameras is solid evidence in courts. crime is crime , to prevent crime and to help catch criminals, is part of our daily security.
