‘Job’ to be buried on Friday

Businessman and political activist, Trevor “Job” Clarke, will be buried on Friday, October 2, following a funeral service at 10 a.m. at the Abundant Life Assembly on Bank Hall, St Michael.

Clarke, 78, who died last Thursday at Queen Elizabeth Hospital after a brief illness, will be buried at the Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, Christ Church.

Clake was a founding member of the Nation Newspaper and one of its early shareholders. He was also seen as a tireless fighter for the preservation of a vibrant manufacturing sector in Barbados and the economic enfranchisement of blacks.
