Two granted bail

COURT TODAY BLOCKA 21-year-old supervisor was granted $5 000 bail after appearing in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court today.

Shaquille Alexander Hood of 18 Warrens Heights, St Thomas pleaded not guilty to assaulting Shanese Sargeant on August 30 and occasioning her actual bodily harm.

Hood, who returns to court on November 18, was warned to stay away from the complainant and to report to a police station every Wednesday.

Rico Omar Goodman, 34, also appeared in the same court on a similar charge involving Victor Jackman on the same date.

He too was granted $5 000 bail, must also stay away from the complainant and has to report
to a police station every Tuesday before noon.

Goodman’s case was adjourned until November 26.
