Scholarship and exhibition winners announced
Twenty-seven scholarships and 25 exhibitions have been awarded to top performers in this year’s Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) and the Associate Degree Programme at the Barbados Community College (BCC).
Queen’s College got most of the scholarships – 15 of them – it also copped the lion share of the exhibitions with 14.
The scholarships went to Queen’s College students Zaria Blackett, Saedeo Yard, Celina Burke, Ryan Thomas, Danielle Herbert, Erica Jordan, Aren Small, Aleish Anderson, Leisl Brewster, Bianca Boyce, Dherisha Lashley, Sasha McDowell, Chad Simmons, Chanda Mwansa and Eamon Rawlins; Harrison College students Stephie Agard, Aalijah Alleyne-Smith, Tremayne Craigg, Kyle Griffith, Chole Harvey-Reid, Kaman Bridgeman, Khristan Lowe, Kameisha Maynard, Alana Clarke, Zakiyyah Nana and Edward Okey; and BCC student Cherise Griffith.
Exhibitions winners were: Marqueta Haynes, Rashad Lapez, Erin Stephany, Adiel Alleyne, Denique Lovel, Daquan Barrow, Andrew Clarke, Jacob Cuke, Sabnna DaSilva, Jared Jackman, Melissa Brathwaite, Shanice Ashby, Shannon Gibson and Chenise King of Queen’s College, Sean Gloumean, Nathan Clairmant, Daniel Devonish, Jaec Emtage-Cave, Amber Evelyn, Mckayla Nurse, Camille Springer and Brian Wood of Harrison College; and Makeda Edmee-Kelly, Musa Degia and Jendayi Worrell of the BCC.
