Big thank you from Hypasounds

Crop Over 2015 was a phenomenal year for Hypasounds. And, he will be forever thankful.

Bajan Vibes caught up with Hypasounds at a Brewster’s Road final fete, where he thanked everyone who was instrumental in making the festival a success for him.

“The season has been great. The fans have been loving the music just as I expected. I want to say a big thank you to the whole Boom Music family; we put a lot of work into it. Every night we are at three four events . . . . It is good to see that the hard work is finally paying off,” he said.

Hypasounds also offered special thanks to his fans who he said “have been down for me from day one”.

“Want to also say a special thanks to all those that came out to support me in the Soca Royale competition. Big-ups to all the fans; the support meant everything to me,” he said graciously.

He admitted making a few changes to the brand Hypasounds, “and it worked”.

“This year I made some changes to my wardrobe. I tried to market the brand Hypasounds for the ladies. So you would have seen me come out in some blazers; in some waistcoats; just to change things up a bit. But I kept the sweetness in the music and I just try to market my stuff as much as I could,” he added.

And while Crop Over might be over, Hypasounds is still on cloud nine, and will be leaving the island to further promote his “sugary music”.

“I’ll be leaving for a month next week to go Toronto, Boston, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Atlanta,” he said.

And, he promises to be bigger and better next year.

“For 2016 for sure there will be more sweetness. We will definitely be trying to get back into Soca Royale because this year was just a wet foot for me in the competition. So I’m looking to get back there again and just do my best,” the artiste stated.
