Defending champions Barbados Tridents, will face the Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel in tomorrow’s Hero Caribbean Premier League final.

The Red Steel eased into the final with a comprehensive six wicket victory over the Guyana Amazon Warriors this evening in Port of Spain, Trinidad to prevent a rematch of last year’s championship game.

Chasing the Warrior’s paltry total of 108 for nine from their 20 overs, the home side strolled to 109 for four in 18.3 overs.

Kamran Akmal led the way, scoring 49 from 41 balls, with seven boundaries and one six.

Earlier, apart from Lendll Simmons’ 64 and Christopher Barnwell’s 12, no other Amazon batsman made it into double figures.

Darren Bravo, Sulieman Benn and Samuel Badree each took two wickets to restrict the visitors.
