In response to the huge target, Graydon Sealy who won the toss and opted to bowl, scored 109 all out in 29.3 overs with number three batsman Rashawn Archer top scoring with 34, Nyeem Joseph with 23 batting at number six and Ramon Sobers, 20.

Clarke took three wickets for 12 runs with his medium-pace, off-spinner Nigel Desrivieres also picked up three for 16, and leg-break bowler Jadan Neil took three for 40.

The visitors had a deficit of 205 and the target seemed gettable with wickets in hands and an entire afternoon to bat but St Leonard’s captain Tauron Gibson knew exactly how to manoeuvre his bowlers and had Graydon Sealy in early trouble. In fact they were bundled out for 51 in 16.2 overs.

Desrivieres did most of the damage with the ball in the second innings taking five for a mere 11 runs off 8.2 overs. Clarke was also impressive once again with three for 25 and Rashawn Worrell who also scored 67 in the first innings for St Leonard’s, took two for nine with his off-spin during Graydon Sealy’s second innings.

So far Desrivieres has taken 13 wickets for St Leonard’s who have so far played three games, won two against Parkinson Memorial and Graydon Sealy but lost to Queen’s College. They are scheduled to play Daryll Jordan, Christ Church Foundation and Grantley Adams Memorial in their next fixtures.
