Seven accused remanded

Seven accused young men were all remanded to prison on a number of serious charges.

They are Sharaad Jabbari Phillips, Kemar Ward, Javon Straker, Joel Hunte, Nathaniel Robinson, Damien Sharaine Proverbs, all from Parish Land, Christ Church and Romario Antonio Hope of Lammings Park, St. Joseph.

The charges include murder, possession of ammunition, possession of firearms, robbery, unlawful wounding with intent to maim, disfigure or disable and causing serious bodily harm.

Magistrate Douglas Frederick ordered the men who appeared at District ‘A’ to return to court on August 4.

Some of them will be making appearances at other courts over the next two weeks.

    crime increases under the dems; barbados always struggle under these jokers. the mistake they make is trying to re-invent the wheel. instead of adapting they change things to suit them and it always turns out as the -reverse midas touch

    @,Kearn, W, hail, on the button. You cause the death of some one you die as well, firing squad, the other ideas seems not to work that well any more. step further all want to be terrorist, be sent to Gitmo.
    @,Randy, hail, you are on the buttons as well, most commit crimes because they think they would get away with it.

    I was told by a friend high up in the BPF, the drug mules heard Barbados is a soft touch, that’s why they push they luck.

    People all ,looking at these young men, the top three, left to right, are the ones seems to carry some concern, the others look just not to care.
